Questions

What people ask before crossing.

How good are the wait times shown on PazPort?

PazPort combines live reports, public signals where available, historical patterns, lane availability, time of day, and local context to estimate the wait you are most likely to face. Conditions can change fast, but the goal is to give you the clearest possible read before you choose a crossing.

Do I need to make an account?

No. PazPort is free to use, with no ads and no account required. We want to provide a useful service to the hardworking border community at no cost.

Is my information shared?

PazPort does not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Optional location and wait-tracking signals are used only when allowed, summarized without a personal profile, and never tied to an account because you do not need one.

How do PazPort recommendations work?

PazPort looks at current waits, learned patterns, the lanes you can use, your preferences, distance context, events, and timing to suggest the best available option now or later.

Can PazPort help me decide when to leave?

Yes. Cross Later lets you compare the line now with other times today, tomorrow, or another day so you can see whether waiting may pay off before you get in the car.

What lanes and crossings can I compare?

Where data is available, PazPort shows passenger, pedestrian, commercial, Standard, Ready Lane, SENTRI, and Nexus options across supported US border crossings.

Can I check without installing the app?

Yes. The iPhone app has the full experience with saved preferences, widgets, and Cross Later, but the web app is always available at go.pazport.app for quick checks from any browser.
