These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and PazPort ("PazPort," "we," "our," or "us") governing your access to and use of the PazPort mobile application and related website(s) where these Terms are posted (collectively, the "Services").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence (or have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf).
You represent that you are not:
- located in a country or region subject to U.S. embargo, and
- on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
2. Service Scope
PazPort provides border-crossing related information and optional user contribution features.
The Services are provided for general informational purposes only. PazPort is not a government agency, does not provide legal advice, and does not guarantee border wait times, border conditions, entry eligibility, or travel outcomes.
3. No Emergency or Safety-Critical Use
The Services are not emergency services and are not intended for safety-critical use. Do not rely on the Services as your sole source of information for urgent, legal, medical, safety, or law-enforcement matters.
4. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may modify the Services and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
5. License Grant and Restrictions
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control and as otherwise permitted by applicable platform usage rules.
You may not (except as permitted by applicable law):
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or publicly display the Services
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
- bypass or interfere with security features or technical protections
- use the Services to violate law or third-party rights
- use bots, scraping, or automated means to extract data at scale
- introduce malware, harmful code, or abusive traffic
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. User Conduct and Contributions
If you submit feedback or other content through the Services, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
You are responsible for your submissions.
You grant PazPort a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display your submissions as needed to operate, maintain, and improve the Services.
7. Third-Party Services
The Services may link to or interoperate with third-party products and services (for example, mapping or app store services). We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or terms.
Your use of third-party services is subject to those third-party terms.
8. Privacy

9. Intellectual Property
The Services, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other content (excluding user submissions), are owned by PazPort or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE DISCLAIM ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ACCURACY.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, CURRENT, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES IS COMPLETE OR RELIABLE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PAZPORT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF PAZPORT FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR
- USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PazPort and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and licensors from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use or misuse of the Services,
- your violation of these Terms, or
- your violation of law or third-party rights.
13. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe:
- you violated these Terms,
- your use poses risk to users, the Services, or third parties, or
- suspension/termination is necessary for legal or security reasons.
Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends immediately.
14. Governing Law and Venue

17. Mobile Store Additional Terms
If you obtained the App through Apple's App Store, the following applies:
- These Terms are between you and PazPort, not Apple.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no warranty obligations regarding the App.
- PazPort (not Apple) is responsible for addressing claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal/regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or similar claims.
- In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession/use of the App infringes intellectual property rights, PazPort (not Apple) will be solely responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the App.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you obtained the App through Google Play, you acknowledge that:
- these Terms are between you and PazPort, not Google,
- your use of Google Play is subject to Google Play's terms.
18. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any documents expressly incorporated by reference (including the Privacy Policy), are the entire agreement between you and PazPort regarding the Services.
- Severability: If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.
